12TH Avenue Water Main Replacement Phase 1

Furnish and install 18,000 LF of 6inch and 8inch DIP Water Main and appurtenances, mostly inside paved streets and roads surrounding the 12th South area. This project had over 5,000 LF of ¾ copper and over 500 new water taps for customers. We installed over 35 new 6inch and 8inch Water Main connections (tie ins) with ZERO complaints. It had over 35 Fire Hydrant Assemblies; 40- 6in Gate Valves; 30- 8in Gate Valves; 20,000 SF of Sidewalk replacement; 7,000 SY of 8in Asphalt Binder Repair; 5,600 Ton of new Asphalt and 2,000 CY of Flowable Fill. This project was to improve the aging cast iron pipes in the high growing area of the 12th South area.
